Sailor Moon

So Escher Girls has posted questionable anatomy on women and people submit to do redraws. So I chose to redraw this panel from Sailor Moon. (The original is on the left). I scanned it, then retranslated it so it was correct translation, rather than using the Tokyopop translation, did the typography. And then did then redid the panel on the right. I did not trace 1 for 1 and only fixed Sailor Jupiter’s pose. I also updated the style of the picture to the latest Takeuchi Naoko drawing style, including the anatomy, the way she drew the skirts, and so on. I screentoned it in Clip Studio Paint’s old name, Manga Studio. Takeuchi’s work is only there for comparison to the original panel.

Evolution

This is a meme I made with images that are public domain.It pictures Alfred Wallace and Charles Darwin. Wallace’s contributions are often forgotten, but I thought it was worth adding him.

Gisaeng entering a hanok

Adobe Photoshop+ Adobe Illustrator. I made the door in illustrator and then imported them as a brush and then put a wood texture over the top. The hinges are also a vector that I imported and modified. and the wood texture on my own. The gisaeng is freehand.

I originally posted this on Deviant Art. The girl in the picture is from Deviant art who did stock before Deviant Art was sold and started to do AI.

Please Stay

The model is the same model as previous one. The other person is her friend. She commented on the original picture that she thought it reminded her of the Little Mermaid. The stairs are also stock, as is the background.

Princess Serenity Dress

This is a 3D model of the Princess Serenity dress from Sailor Moon. I used Blender.

Tori

I modeled a tori in Blender, then used Daz to render it with the texture.

Planet

I created an action set to automatically create a planet, then used it to make a 3D planet texture, and planet, then put it on a star background, which I made using the action set I also made.

Sunset

I used Corel Painter to make it to imitate acrylic paint.

Cousin

I was testing out a program on a Chromebook using my finger on a touch screen, and ended up drawing my cousin from reference.

Angel and Devil

I loosely used Mike He and Ariel Lin as the models. Mostly Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint.

Quan Yin

A poster I created of Quan Yin, the Goddess of Compassion. I used mostly photoshop, but also somewhat Corel Painter.

Jjajangmyeon

I made this for Black day, which is “holiday” in Korea for people who didn’t get choclates on Valentine’s day or White Day (March 14th). Created in Corel Painter. I wanted to try to create a more flat poster feel.

Rapunzel

Digital painting using Corel Painter and Adobe Photoshop. I created the bricks myself.

Lee Min Ho

This was a request from a friend to draw her favorite actor, Lee Min Ho.

Cup I designed with Typography

I designed this cup and made in Zazzle and then sent it to a kid who had graduated from sippy cups for their birthday. I believe this shows my understanding of typography. One of the poems is my own—the third one.
